Your Build
It should reflect you.
Your build shouldn’t look, perform, or feel like everyone else’s. It should reflect you and what you actually want to do with it.
HomeBrother Shop
Mike is known for doing a little bit of everything, and doing it well. From American muscle and hot rods to extreme off-road rigs, his work covers custom fabrication, 4x4 builds, one-ton axle swaps, gearing, and plenty in between.
Located Alongside APP
Located alongside APP, we also team up on projects, combining our engine building and tuning with Mike and his team’s skills, and versatility. Whether it belongs on the street or out on the trail, let’s talk about what you have in mind.
Family Owned · The Sketchy Story
What started as Team Sketchy Racing, a family motocross race team, grew into something much bigger. Sketchy Performance & Fab was built from a lifelong passion for racing, fabrication, problem-solving, and building things differently.
Owner and operator Mike Denney brings more than 20 years of experience to the shop as a GM World Class Technician, fabricator, creative problem-solver, and the guy who can usually figure out how to build what doesn’t exist yet. From race machines and off-road rigs to street builds and completely custom projects, they’ve never been interested in cookie-cutter work.
A family-owned shop built around craftsmanship, creativity, and the belief that if you can dream it, there’s probably a way to build it.

What They Build
Custom fabrication is at the heart of what they do. From off-road rigs and race vehicles to street cars, motorcycles, restorations, and one-of-a-kind projects, they build, modify, repair, and fabricate to fit your vision.
Already started a project and ran out of time, tools, space or patience? Bring it to Sketchy. They’re happy to pick up where you left off, solve the problems holding it up, and get your project finished and road-ready.

The Sketchy Philosophy
Four wheels, two wheels, pavement, dirt, or something completely outside the box.
Your Build
It should reflect you.
Your build shouldn’t look, perform, or feel like everyone else’s. It should reflect you and what you actually want to do with it.
The Details
The right solution, not the easy one.
They take the time to understand the vision, think through the details, and care just as much about the fabrication you may never see as the finished product you will.
The Standard
Do it right. Make it last.
Whether it’s an entire vehicle or one small bracket: do it right, make it functional, make it last, and build something they’re proud to put the Sketchy name behind.
